I owed o2 £105 that I didn't have and they sent it Westcot services, I found this out on November 5th I think it was.
Anyway I agreed to pay them £10 a month starting Nov 28 to clear it but it still hasn't reflected in my latest noodle update which says 2nd late payment and early arrears, I have contacted o2 and they are being so unhelpful I don't want a default on my file for something that I am currently paying off!
Any ideas why Noodle doesn't say Westcot has took it over yet?

I am buying a new Audi Q7. I was going to pay cash plus my px but then the dealer offered me an additional £3k discount (deposit contribution) if I used their Audi PCP finance.
I asked what happened if I then went on to use my 14 day right to withdraw or if I settled early. They said as long as I waited 6 months then I could settle early without penalty. Being ex motor trade i asked for a SECCI so that I could read the T&Cs.
It looks to me like I can withdraw from the finance and still keep the benefit of the £3k contribution, a quick google search confirms this with many users of audi owners forums confirming taking advantage of this offer.
However I did come across this, in response to someone who had been told the same as I had...
"In my opinion (and if you have proof) you have been mis-sold (and misinformed) by the staff at the dealership. If they have not been entirely truthful and transparent with you (and you can prove it) then the agreement will be unenforceable. In these circumstances you would be entitled to a complete refund of all money paid under the agreement (including deposit and/or part exchange value) and to have it cancelled. The only real issue would be the proof - your word against theirs I'm afraid, unless you have an independant witness or a recording. You also (almost certainly) signed a "Regulatory Requirements Document" confirming that they have completed all steps required by the Consumer Credit Directive. This would include a thorough explanation of the most pertinent aspects of the agreement. "
I know I am clutching at straws here but if I had proof and as such the agreement was unenforceable and I was entitled to a full refund, can I also keep the car? A long shot I know but worth asking...

Hi,
I'm looking at getting a loan from my bank to help a friend out (£20k), I don't have any issues with it being paid back to me etc, the only question I have is will the bank allow me to take a loan for that reason?
Thanks

Hope you can help
Problem - Ex refusing to pay for a loan with my step dad as guarantoor
Details - my ex partner/bf took out a a loan, in total with interest it is about £10,000. the guarantour was my step dad.
so it is not in my name at all and i didnt really have anything to do with it, ex said it was to private rent to my step dad so he signed the agreement. I rang my mum as i normally try to do every week and i said "mum, steve (ex) wants to talk to dad about a loan"
Apparently because ex was living with me, i said that to my mum im liable for part of this debt as well is this correct?????
my mum is taking it to the small claims court
Ex is refusing to pay as i had everything when we split up
We split because he was swearing at my daughter and said he hates her, he tried throwing me off my fireescape (3rd floor flat), punched me, police were involved but i did not take it further.
THings he wanted back: Car - he transferred into my name with a written letter and signed the log book
iphone4 - his contract, he said i can have the phone so i took his contract sim card out and used a PAYG, he then blocked the handset
camera - family thing we bought together with pics of holiday etc, mainly my daughter, i kept it
heater - he refused to come and collect from a neighbour

Hi,
I took out a 2nd career development loan in 2011 and all my paperwork showed that the payments would commence on 03/12/12. I agreed to this, but when Barclays set up the standing order they set it for 23/11/13.
I saw this as soon as the money was put in my account and called them to advise of an error. When I called them I was advised by the loan agent that the standing order was correct and the money would start coming out on the date it was set for - she was quite abrupt and made it seem as though I was wrong to question even though there was a discrepancy.
In September 2012 I went into my local branch to confirm whether this was correct and was told the same. When I advised that all my paperwork was set for 03/12/12 he advised that the standing order had been set for 2013 and wouldn't start coming out until then.
Now I'm in the position where a payment didn't go out and I've had Barclays calling to advise this, but they seem to disregard the fact that I tried to rectify their mistake twice, but was told the same on both occasions so I haven't made any provisions for these payments.
What do I do? They want me to pay more each month to cover the arrears starting from 03/01/13, but that isn't enough time to cancel some of my non-essential DDs like my gym, phone etc so I can pay off this loan without being completely skint for the foreseeable future.
Do I have a leg to stand on and is there anything that I can do?
Hope someone can help!!!

I really dislike my teeth and badly want braces, however I don't know how I'm going to pay for them. Let me explain it to you..
First of all, I was thinking of using finance where i just pay some back every month untill the full amount is payed up. I am in full time employment however seeing as I'm so young and never had a credit card or anything, I have limited credit history and won't get finance.
Secondly, my mum offered to pay using her card every month and I just give her the cash myself however she has really bad credit and didn't get finance.
The cost of the braces would come to about £2500 all together and I was wondering if I would be able to get this loaned to me from somewhere like a bank? Do you think they'd do this? I don't own a home though but I am employed and would be able to pay the loan back without a doubt. I know people will tell me to save up but what with other living expenses (like running my car etc) it would take me forever! And my teeth are really affecting my self confidence. Thank you.

hi
I took out a loan for 20k in September 2010 for 60 months (5 years) @ £465.65 per month. (14.9%)
Since taking out the loan I have a better paid job and aiming at soon getting a mortgage. I have been told it would be better to pay of the loan first because A: More money each month and B: Lenders dont want to lend when someone has a large loan already.
I am thinking is it worth taking out a new loan to pay of my current loan quicker.
Using the Halifax online calculator I can borrow 12k over 24 months with £535.32 monthly payments (total £12,847.68)
So A: I pay the loan of 6 months earlier and B: I save just over £100 on the loan.
But is it worth it or am I best waiting (rather than putting my name through credit checks again)
Also, is it possible to do this with my current provider (HSBC) as I know I have great credit history with them.

I have accidentally opened a letter addressed to a former tenant of mine. The letter threatens a doorstep collection visit to recover your outstanding balance.
Is there a chance that the collector will force entry to my home and seize my property? Will they believe me telling them the tenant has moved and just leave me alone?

Hello
I wont link to my previous post about this company but its there if you wish to look through it - but please dont judge me based on it like some have.
Ok so i took out a loan with this company for £400. Didnt pay it back within the time and so it goes on.
They email, text, leave 4min long voicemails with nobody there.
From a £400 debt it now stands at £2000.04
Are they within right to demand this much and continue adding intrest?
Im sure they can only add so many days of interest before it gets capped?
Also since they have not followed the new practices that came into effect from 03.2012 where they are required to send you debt help information and a breakdown of the loan amount, can i question this?
I have called them many times and offered a settlement of the capital plus a months interest but they just scoff at you and say you must pay legal fees etc even though the company that they pass onto IS the same in house.
I've just had enough of trying to sort this out now - I know my file is trashed and will be for 6yrs but come jan/feb i'll be in a whole better financial posistion.
But still i wont pay 2k to them....
Any help?
Thank You

Hi all,
In 2003 had £2000 loan, - checked docs last week and seen there was ppi i didnt know about so called to claim. Plus £1000 loan previous year. No docs but they say was ppi on it as well.
Details on documents - APR 16.8%
Loan - £2000
Loan insurance - £367
Total amount payable - £2980.80 including -
Interest - £588 + admin fee £25
loan repayments per month - £69.94 = over 36 months = £2517.84
insurance repayments per month-£12.84 over 36 months= £462.24
Am I right in thinking the calculation is premium of PPI £367 + 3 years interest at 16.8% + statutory 8%
Or as it was 9 years ago, add (+) 9 years interest of 16.9% ???
Im confused!! The bank has wrote and said they will give us £700 goodwill gesture payment but no liability to missold ppi......
Should I accept or write to them with my calulation breakdown and suggest that is what they owe.?
Hope this makes sense!!!!!
I have kind of worked out both together would be over £1000 0dd back but dont know how to really work it out.
Any help would be great, thanks in advance.
Ps, looking into PPI claims with Northern Rock, Legal and General, Cardiff Pinnacle. Might need help on that too....

Had my LBM in January of this year and as you can see by my signature I have been slowly chipping away at this, continuing in the same vane I think I can be debt free by dec 2015 so in 3 years time. I currently pay £1100 monthly to my debt, half of this goes on the interest at present. However hubby has investigated refinancing our loan to pay off all the cc's and has pretty much got £25000 unsecured agreed with a monthly payment of £550 but over 5 years. So we are not borrowing any more than we need and we will be better off each month BUT it over a longer term. We have got into debt by living beyond our means and I'm not convinced by taking what seems an easy way out that we will have learned anything from it I am also unconvinced that we would have the willpower to avoid any further cc spending by taking this route, hubby on the other half is really for the new loan. Thoughts and opinions welcome please, has anyone actually consolidated and stayed out of debt in the longterm, from what I've been reading on here seems all negative.

Hi,
New here so hope im in right place anyone offer advice on where to go next.
Recently took out payday loan with QQ £200 with £40 to pay on top £20 after 1st month £220 after second month. First went fine until near end of second month, New DD appeared on my online banking from 'unknown frequency' for £20 i thought this could be QQ but as its my first PDL i cancelled the DD for caution and contacted QQ asking to pay over phone but was told i couldn't do this as the DD had not been returned unpaid to them yet and i was to wait a few more days to be contacted.
After a few days received email telling me that my account now in default and there was £12 charge added to account WTF! i emailed to explain situation and that i would not accept charge to which i received a reply to say that the charge was because the actual fault was i had supplied different address on DD mandate form to one my bank held for me again i replied to tell them as the first DD had gone through this was wrong and that again i would not accept charge and to contact me when they would like to take the £220. I received nothing after this for over a week instead they started repeatedly phoning my home phone during my working hours and were told everytime to contact me after 5:30pm which they did not do instead opting today to call my employer to obviously embarrass me into paying i cannot take personal calls at work so sent them an email from my desk to tell them they do not have right to contact my employer and then received a return email offering me a payment plan and to accept it to stop it going to debt collection at this point i returned back a strongly worded email stating the facts and that i did not require or want a payment plan just to pay what was rightfully owed which is all i wanted from the start and that if they did not contact me by telephone after 5:30pm i would be making an official complaint against them for their behavior.
Surprise surprise today at 5:40pm they contacted but only to tell me they would not drop the charge and to pay now to avoid debt collection proceedings to which i told them that i would pay the £220 and that i would continue with making my complaint and they would have to start proceedings for the charge as it was not warranted. I asked them for their account details so i could go to a bank to make the payment as i did not trust giving out my bank details to them again to which i was told no it has to be debit or credit card or nothing. Are they allowed to do this? Is there anything i can do? any help would be much appreciated. Some people might say just pay the charge but i don't see why its their fault and the way they have behaved is appalling and as its xmas have better ways to spend that £12.

Hi,
I have taken a personal loan from Lloyds TSB for approx £10k for 3 years. Their T&C about early repayment states that there may be a charge of upto 58 days of interest if the loan is closed early. Now I am thinking of closing the loan in full after about 2 months. I want to know under what circumstances they charge the 58 day interest as their wording says they may charge. Does anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks in advance

Hey all
Its been a tough few years financially (partner sick, then -out of work for last 18 months) and in the last 4 years ive racked up a little debt
I have a close to max cc (3.2k) which i pay 80 a month on
I have 3.8k left on a 6k loan (203 a month)
And i use my 1600 O/D every month.. i pay 20 a month for that
I may have missed payments as a student etc (20 years ago!)..but have never gone over my ODraught, or missed a payment in the last 5 years.
My noddle rating is 3/5 which i understand is somewhere between average and poor?. Presumeably because of my debt levels.
So with outgoings for debt at 300 a month i want to consolidate it and reduce my monthly cost, and used nationwides soft search for a quote
i added my loan and cc when asked (there was no facility to enter overdraught)
i applied for a quote for 10k over 5 years and was quoted at 9.9%?
This would greatly reduce my outgoings
However im nervous about the impact of a failed application.
So, i was hoping people could clarify a few things?
1) Can i get any idea from the quotation rate (9.9%) about how likely i am to be accepted? Do banks hate consolidation loans generally?)
2) Will my level of current debt (39% of a years salary) be deemed so high that i am auto declined?
3) If i apply and am rejected, is there a risk my OWN bank will remove my over draught and cc? due to the search on my file...thats my biggest concern really.
Thanks
